Chuck Fries
Chuck Fries was an American producer.
With a career that spanned more than six decades, Fries contributed to more than 140 television movies and miniseries, and upwards of five thousand episodes of television.
Fries began his career at Ziv Television, producing shows such as The Cisco Kid and Sea Hunt.

Fries began his career at Ziv Television, producing shows such as The Cisco Kid and Sea Hunt.
He went on to work for Screen Gems and Columbia Pictures, in charge of programs such as Route 66, Bewitched, Father Knows Best, The Monkees, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Martian Chronicles, and I Dream of Jeannie. At Metromedia, he produced The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau and would later on establish his own company, Fries Entertainment.
Fries also produced a number of feature films including Castle Keep (1969), Easy Rider (1969), Five Easy Pieces (1970), Horseman (2021), Getting Straight (1970), Cat People (1982), and Troop Beverly Hills (1989).
Fries died April 22, 2021, in Los Angeles, California. He was 92.
