Fall Internships

The application period for Fall 2023 internships will open in late April.

The Foundation will offer paid, part-time internships to full-time students who will be enrolled in college/university in the Greater Los Angeles Area (counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura) and semester in LA programs ONLY.

Interns must commit to working 13 consecutive weeks: (12) at 25 hrs. and (one) week at 20 hrs.

2023 Internships may be in-person, hybrid or remote, depending on the opportunity, and are subject to change. As a condition of employment, the Academy Foundation will require all in-person or hybrid-work interns to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Reasonable accommodations will be considered.

Finalist notifications will be made in mid-June

"After getting the privilege to read so many scripts by experienced screenwriters, I feel more prepared to develop my own unique voice as a writer. I have a much better sense of what writers in the industry are doing now, and how to make myself stand out as an emerging new artist."

"I have never been part of an internship where every day I could see the valuable skills I learned and the value that I had to the company. Every member of the development team added to my education and professional growth. "

"You can learn about these concepts in school, but you don't ever really fully understand them until you're doing them. The Television Academy internship gave me experiences I don't think I could've gotten elsewhere. It's the best opportunity for creative, passionate people who want to meet other creative, passionate people."
