About The Event

Governors Derek Spears and Eddie Bonin, along with their Peer Group Executive Committee, VES and Fuzzy Door Tech, invite members of the Special Visual Effects Peer Group to:

Real-Time Production at the Gnomon School

Join VES & Fuzzy Door Tech Real-Time Production Demo + Q&A event at Gnomon for a live demo of Fuzzy Door Tech’s ViewScreen suite of ProViz™ tools that simultaneously integrate VFX and the real world – in real-time

ViewScreen is transforming storytelling by making the invisible visible. The products use augmented reality (AR) to display VFX components in a live scene so the director, director of photography, camera operators and extended crew can see the entire scene and react instantly to what's happening on set.

Hear from the people who conceived and developed the ViewScreen suite of tools and pioneered their use on Seth MacFarlane’s Ted TV series and The Orville: New Horizons. ViewScreen Scout was critical for planning and blocking shuttle landings as part of Hulu's The Orville: New Horizons. ViewScreen Studio allowed MacFarlane to direct and animate Ted’s face and body movements during the filming of the Ted TV series and gave the extended team visibility to evaluate shots with Ted in real time.

Plus, we’ll share details about a new app in closed Beta that you will have the opportunity to download and test for yourself. We’ll also help you get started so you’ll have the app available to explore and test on your next project.

Don't miss this opportunity to network, ask questions, and gain insights into the world of real-time VFX. See you there!
