Roles followed in the films Plymouth Adventure, starring Spencer Tracy; Hans Christian Andersen, starring Danny Kaye; The Story of Three Loves, with Kirk Douglas and Ethel Barrymore; I Love Melvin, starring Debbie Reynolds; The Robe, starring Richard Burton; A Lion Is in the Streets, with James Cagney; and Band of Angels, with Clark Gable and Sidney Poitier.
