Donald Douglas was an American film editor.

Douglas launched his decades-long film editing career at Hanna-Barbera studios in Los Angeles, and worked on numerous animated shows, including The Yogi Bear Show, The Jetsons, Jonny Quest, and The Flintstones.

He went on to edit several live action series such as Marcus Welby, M.D., The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Kojak, Baretta, and The Eddie Capra Mysteries.

Douglas received his first Emmy nomination in 1984 for his work on the miniseries George Washington (with Barry Bostwick), then shared a nomination a year later as one of the editors of the 90-minute pilot episode of Murder, She Wrote. He worked on Murder, She Wrote for several seasons.

Douglas retired in 1991.

Douglas died October 3, 2020, in Greeley, Colorado. He was 87.
