Emmys 2003: Seligman Back as Supervising Producer

Executive Producer Don Mischer announced that Michael B. Seligman will return as Supervising Producer of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' 55th Annual Prime-time Emmy Awards. The 55th Annual Prime-time Emmy Awards will be broadcast Sunday, September 21 (8:00- 11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on the Fox network.

"Michael’s experience and creativity will enhance what we envision to be a truly spectacular show," said Mischer.

An expert in staging live broadcasts, Seligman has supervised more than 300 events, including 14 Emmy broadcasts. A three-time Emmy nominee himself, Seligman has served as the Supervising Producer of The Academy Awards since 1976 and Associate Producer of The Kennedy Center Honors for the past quarter century. He also produced both the 1980 and 1984 Presidential Inaugural Galas, as well as the Presidential Inauguration of Bill Clinton.

The 55th Annual Prime-time Emmy Awards will be held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Nominations for the awards will be announced July 17 at 5:38:30 a.m. (PT) from the Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.
