Multi-Peer Group Halloween Party
About The Event
Governors Eddie Bonin & Derek Spears (Special Visual Effects), Kaz Aizawa & Lamb Chamberlin (Animation), and Barry Zegel & Wendy Aylsworth (Science & Technology), along with their Peer Group Executive Committees, invite their peer group members to:
Multi-Peer Group Halloween Party
Come join us to celebrate the Halloween season with your fellow Academy peers in the Special Visual Effects, Animation, and Science & Technology peer groups!
We're excited to invite you to this special Halloween party -- whether or not you were selected in the lottery for the All-Academy's "Ghostly Gathering" the same week -- if you're a member of these three special peer groups you're automatically invited to attend this Multi-Peer Group Halloween party.
We're mixing our love for television and the Halloween spirit. Come dressed as your favorite television character, and let's see which iconic looks stand out! There will be a costume contest, with prizes awarded for the best costumes, especially those that are the most relatable to TV characters — so bring your A-game!
We also welcome you to bring a guest. If you know anyone who's interested in learning more about being a member of the Television Academy in the Special Visual Effects, Animation, or Science & Technology peer groups, they are welcome to join the fun as well.
Let's enjoy a night of creativity, costumes, and community! We hope to see you there.
