Daytime Programming Peer Group Membership Requirements
Please note that any requirements for credits, number of programs, number of hours or days, or percentages of time spent (as outlined below) are requirements which must have been met within the four years preceding one's application for membership; also, such requirements apply in each instance to the production or distribution of audio visual works for national exhibition.
Active Status
Primary professional function in the area of Daytime Programming for a minimum of two (2) years in one or more of the following areas or in one of the classifications covered by the other peer groups.
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
ASSOCIATE PRODUCER
CONTESTANT COORDINATOR
DIRECTOR
EXECUTIVE IN CHARGE OF PRODUCTION
LICENSE AND CLEARANCES
MARKETING & PUBLICISTS
PERFORMER
PRODUCER
PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE
PRODUCTION CO-COORDINATOR
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
SCRIPT SUPERVISOR
STUDIO MANAGERS
TALENT EXECUTIVE
TELEVISION EXECUTIVE
WRITER
or
A significant body of work to be determined by the Peer Group Executive Committee.
Associate Status
Associate membership will extend to any person who is working in a position which would normally qualify for Active membership, but who has not yet compiled sufficient time or credits required for Active membership
or
Works as an assistant or department manager directly under the supervision of a person eligible for Daytime Active membership
or
Works in a major creative or administrative position in a technical or engineering field that directly contributes to the arts and sciences of Daytime telecommunications for national exhibition.
