Wynn Hammer was an American still photographer.

He is perhaps best known for capturing behind the scenes photographs on the films Paint Your Wagon (1969), Bound for Glory (1976), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), and The Deer Hunter (1978).

A student of photography under Will Connell at the original ArtCenter, Hammer would go on to snap documentary-style shots behind the scenes on a number of other features including Cloak & Dagger (1984), The Last Starfighter (1984), King of the Mountain (1981), The Black Hole (1979), Hardcore (1979), Blue Collar (1978), Audrey Rose (1977), Carrie (1976), and Burnt Offerings (1976).

He also photographed publicity stills for television series such as Hawaii Five-O, Family Affair, To Rome with Love, Green Acres, The Smith Family, The New Dick Van Dyke Show, Police Story, and The Mod Squad.

Hammer died May 2, 2021, in Glendale, California. He was 97.
