Rod Perry was an American film and television actor.

He is best known for portraying Sgt. David "Deacon" Kay in the 1970s television series S.W.A.T.

Perry attended Penn State on a track and field scholarship, setting a world record in the 200-meter hurdles in 1957, and served in the U.S. Army before pursuing a career in acting. He landed a recurring role in the series Barney Miller and guest starred in Project U.F.O., Good Times, Babylon Five, and the 1974 TV movie The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman.
