Murray Schisgal
Murray Schisgal was an American screenwriter, playwright, and producer.
He is best known for writing the Dustin Hoffman film Tootsie (1982), for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Screenplay, and for penning the play Luv (1967).
Schisgal also wrote a number of teleplays including Szerelem, Ó! (2009), Vinduer (1966 and 1972), The Typists (1971), Prozorci (1969), and Konttoristit (1966), and contributed to writing the television series: ABC Stage 67 (1966), Playdate (1963), and Armchair Theatre (1961).

Schisgal was a two-time Daytime Emmy Nominee for Outstanding Children's Special for producing A Separate Peace and The Devil's Arithmetic.
Schisgal died October 1, 2020, in Port Chester, New York. He was 93.
