Martin West was an American actor of film and television.

He got his start in Hollywood appearing in popular television shows such as As the World Turns, Have Gun – Will Travel, 77 Sunset Strip, The Virginian, and Perry Mason.

West was then cast in multiple 1960s teen comedies including Lord Love a Duck (1966), before starring in Soldier Blue (1970), Alfred Hitchcock’s Family Plot (1976), John Carpenter’s Assault on Precinct 13 (1976), and Mac and Me (1988).

A continued staple on the small screen, he also had recurring roles in the television series General Hospital, Dallas, and Hill Street Blues, and guest starred in CHiPs, Matlock, and L.A. Law.

West died December 31, 2019, in Norwalk, Connecticut. He was 82.
