Larry Brezner was a producer and talent manager best known for helping cultivate the careers of Robin Williams and Billy Crystal and for producing the films Throw Momma from the Train, starring Crystal, and Good Morning, Vietnam, starring Williams. The latter earned WIlliams his first Oscar nomination.

Brezner also produced the two comedians in their own specials, Robin Williams: Live at the Met, Billy Crystal: A Comic's Line and Billy Crystal: Don’t Get Me Started — The Billy Crystal Special. Additionally, Brezner worked on the television series Good Time Harry, The Billy Crystal Comedy Hour and Little Britain USA.

His other films as a producer included The ‘Burbs, starring Tom Hanks, as well as Coupe de Ville, Passed Away, The Vanishing, Angie, Clifford, The Greatest Game Ever Played and the 2011 remake of Arthur, starring Russell Brand. Additionally, he produced Ride Along, starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, as well as the movie's 2016 sequel.

Brezner got his start at the Rollins and Joffe talent agency, which represented Woody Allen and Robert Klein. It is said that Brezner discovered Williams in an acting class. He also encouraged Crystal to break out from his comedy act 3’s Company and work on his own. Brezner became interested in producing when he worked as a crew member on the original Arthur, starring Dudley Moore.

He was also a principal owner in Brezner Steinberg Partners, along with his longtime colleague, David Steinberg.

Brezner died October 5, 2015, in Duarte, California. He was 73.
