Kevin O'Morrison was an actor and playwright best known for his roles in the films The Set-Up and Sleepless in Seattle. In the latter, he played Cliff, the father of Meg Ryan’s character.

O’Morrison made his film debut in 1947 in Dear Ruth, starring Joan Caulfield and William Holden. He also appeared in the films Saigon, starring Veronica Lake; Funny Farm, starring Chevy Chase; and Lightning Jack, with Paul Hogan and Cuba Gooding Jr.

Additionally, O’Morrison had roles on the shows The Philco-Goodyear Television Playhouse, I Spy, The United States Steel Hour, Lonesome Dove, Square One Television, Law & Order and he played the title character in the 1950-51 series Charlie Wild, Private Detective.
