Kelly Preston was an American film and television actress.

A graduate of Punahuou College in Honolulu, Hawaii, Preston is perhaps best known for her work in the films For Love of the Game (1999), Jerry Maguire (1996), and Christine (1983).

A graduate of Punahuou College in Honolulu, Hawaii, Preston is perhaps best known for her work in the films For Love of the Game (1999), Jerry Maguire (1996), and Christine (1983).

Preston was 16 years old and living in Australia when she was discovered by a fashion photographer. She began getting cast in prominent roles in the 1980s with 10 to Midnight (1983), Secret Admirer (1985), SpaceCamp (1986), 52 Pick-Up (1986), and Twins (1988).

She continued her four-decade long career appearing in From Dusk Till Dawn (1996), Nothing to Lose (1997), Jack Frost (1998), Sky High (2005), and Old Dogs (2009).

Preston also collaborated with her husband, John Travolta, in a number of projects including The Experts (1989), Battlefield Earth (2000), and Gotti (2018), and made guest star appearances in the television shows CSI: Cyber, Medium, Fat Actress, Joey, Tales from the Crypt, Lone Star, CHiPs, Quincy M.E., and Hawaii Five-O.

Preston died July 12, 2020 in Ocala, Florida. She was 57.
