Gene Sherry was a renowned studio musician known for his skill as a French horn player. He began his career as a member of the ABC Radio Orchestra and later had a contract with Universal Studios. He played on a number of feature films as well as such television series as Dragnet, Bonanza, Get Smart, Star Trek and Little House on the Prairie.

 

Sherry also taught music for 22 years at Polytechnic High School in Sun Valley, California,  while continuing to play professionally.
