Brent Carver was a Canadian actor.

Perhaps best known for his theater work, Carver won a Tony Award for his performance as Molina in the musical Kiss of the Spider Woman. He also notably appeared in Parade, My Life with Albertine, and King Lear, opposite Christopher Plummer.

In television, he worked with Michael J. Fox on the comedy Leo and Me, and would go on to land a recurring role on the television series Street Legal. He also guest starred in Due South, The Twilight Zone, and Deep in the City and appeared in the telefilms Leonardo: A Dream of Flight and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

In 1997, Carver was nominated for a Daytime Emmy award for Outstanding Performer in a Children's Special for his voice-over work on Whiskers.

Carver died August 4, 2020, in Cranbrook, British Columbia. He was 68.
