Barry Frank was an American television producer and manager.
A graduate of Harvard Business School, Frank was a pioneer sports programmer who negotiated Olympic television deals and represented broadcasting stars such as John Madden, Bob Costas, Greg Gumbel, and Cris Collinsworth.
He also created many television sport shows including The Battle of the Network Stars, World's Strongest Man, Survival of the Fittest, and American Gladiators.
In 2009, Frank was inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame and he received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Sports at the Sports Emmy Awards in 2018.
