Based on current COVID-19 safety protocols established by our production company, all 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards attendees are required to show proof of a negative Covid test upon arrival at the Microsoft Theater for admittance. The following types of tests will be accepted:

  • Lab-based PCR rapid or diagnostic tests
  • LAMP or NAAT molecular tests, including Cue Health or Lucira

Antigen tests will not be accepted.

All test results must be dated and presentable on a mobile device.

Please note that a PCR test may return a positive result up to 90 days after a person first tests positive for COVID. If you are concerned you may not be able to show proof of a negative test, you must reach out to emmystesting@televisionacademy.com by Monday, August 29.

Below is a list of laboratories that provide lab-based PCR testing in the greater Los Angeles and New York areas. We cannot guarantee results will be provided in the timeframe, and you should reach out to each laboratory individually for latest turnaround times.

All COVID-19 tests must be collected by the lab/provider within the specified timeframes:

  • For the Saturday, Sept. 3, Creative Arts ceremony: on or after Thursday, Sept. 1
  • For the Sunday, Sept. 4, Creative Arts ceremony: on or after Friday, Sept. 2
