Based on current COVID-19 safety protocols established by our production company, all 74th Emmy Awards attendees are required to follow these protocols.

For Nominees, their guests, and attendees seated in the nominee section:

All Nominees, Nominee Guests, and Attendees seated in the Nominee section are required to show proof of a negative Covid test upon arrival at the Microsoft Theater for admittance.

The following types of tests will be accepted:

  • Lab-based PCR rapid or diagnostic tests
  • LAMP or NAAT molecular tests, including Cue Health or Lucira

Antigen tests will not be accepted.

All test results must be dated and presentable on a mobile device. All Covid-19 tests must be collected by the lab/provider on or after Saturday, September 10.

Please note that a PCR test may return a positive result up to 90 days after a person first tests positive for COVID. If you are concerned you may not be able to show proof of a negative test, you must reach out to emmystesting@televisionacademy.com by Tuesday, September 6.

For General Audience Attendees:

All General Audience members are required to show EITHER proof of vaccination OR proof of a negative Covid test upon arrival at the Microsoft Theater for admittance.

Proof of vaccination may be shown via any of the following:

  • Official vaccination card
  • DIgital image of the vaccination card
  • State-issued QR code of vaccination record

You are considered fully vaccinated:

  • 2 weeks after your dose of an accepted single-dose vaccine
  • 2 weeks after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose vaccine

The following types of tests will be accepted for those not able to show proof of vaccination:

  • Lab-based PCR rapid or diagnostic tests
  • LAMP or NAAT molecular tests, including Cue Health or Lucira

Antigen tests will not be accepted.
