Known worldwide as one-half of the entertaining duo Siegfried & Roy, Horn was a masterful showman who captivated the Las Vegas Strip for more than 25 years. He was the animal lover and trainer who conceived many of the show’s concepts, while his magician partner, Siegfried Fishbacher, developed ways to make those ideas a reality.

With extravagant costumes, pyrotechnics, and the thrill of having tigers and lions in front of a live audience, the Siegfried & Roy magic act at the Mirage was one of the most dazzling live performances produced, earning the duo the title of the most successful live entertainers in the history of Las Vegas.

In 2004, Horn co-executive produced the computer-animated sitcom Father of the Pride. He also appeared as himself in films such as Vegas Vacation (1997) and Ocean’s Eleven (2001).

Horn died May 8, 2020, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was 75.
