Patricia Breslin, Actress and Wife of NFL Team Owner Art Modell

Breslin's acting career included roles in dozens of series, including memorable turns on The Twilight Zone.

Patricia Breslin, actress and wife of Baltimore Ravens owner Art Modell, died October 12, 2011. She was 80.

Working in stage, films, and television, Breslin (who would later take her husband's name) starred in the sitcom The People's Choice as the wife of Jackie Cooper.

She also had roles in General Hospital and Peyton Place, and episodes of dozens of series, including Kraft Theater, Robert Montgomery Presents, Alcoa Theatre, The Donna Reed Show, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Bonanza, Perry Mason, The Rifleman, Dr. Kildare and The Virginian.

Her most memorable roles were in The Twilight Zone in 1960 and 1963, in which she played the wife of William Shatner, who was obsessed with a fortune-telling machine. A later episode would deal with a time machine trying to change the events of the past.

Upon marrying Modell, she retired from acting after 22 years.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, and six grandchildren.
