Karalee Vint Named Employee of the Year

Academy staffer Karalee Vint has been named Non-Profit Employee of the Year by the 2003 Women in Business Awards. Vint will receive the award at a luncheon sponsored by State Assembly Member Dario Frommer.

"It is a privilege and honor to be acknowledged by the Women in Business Awards Recognition Program with this award," said Vint. "It is a wonderful feeling to be recognized for my accomplishments and contributions."

As the Manager of Board of Relations, Vint provides direct administrative support to Academy executives and board members, and assists in the management of the Academy's executive office.

Before joining the Academy, Vint previously served as a consultant at the Intellect Management Group, where she was responsible for identifying and proposing quality and process improvements, as well as surveying customer satisfaction. She was also senior vice president and manager of business excellence at Fidelity Federal Bank, where she assisted management in determining areas of change and recommending solutions.

The Women In Business Awards are presented by the California State Legislature in ten categories to recognize women's significant contributions to business, community, and the economy.
