Bob Hope's Emmy Nominations

MOST HONORED: Fans and mourners remembered Bob Hope with flowers, turning his Hall of Fame bust into an impromptu shrine at the TV Academy Plaza. Hope, who died at age 100, was recognized as the world's most honored entertainer.

Bob Hope’s name was associated with more than thirty Emmy nominations over his long career, mostly for specials such as Bob Hope Presents The Chrysler Theatre. But while several performers, writers or directors — Shelly Winters, Rod Serling and Sydney Pollack to name a few — collected TV’s top honor for their work on those shows, Hope himself got only one.

That was in 1966, when he was honored as executive producer of Chrysler Presents The Bob Hope Christmas Special. In all, Hope was nominated four times, once as a performer and three times as an executive producer. Here is a list of his nominations.
