ACADEMY OF TELEVISION ARTS & SCIENCES FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES AEG AS TITLE SPONSOR FOR 9TH ANNUAL CELEBRITY GOLF CLASSIC

North Hollywood, CA – As part of the festivities leading up to the 60th Primetime Emmy® Awards, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation (Television Academy Foundation) is pleased to announce that AEG has become the Title Sponsor for its 9th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic on Monday, September 15, at El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana.
“The Celebrity Golf Classic is an event that the Television Academy’s Foundation looks forward to every year,” said Terri Clark, Executive Director of the Television Academy Foundation, who announced AEG's participation today.
“The annual benefit allows the industry to support the Foundation in its efforts to foster personal skill development, address diversity and document the evolution of television and digital media," Clark stated. "We especially look forward to having AEG, who will be hosting the upcoming Primetime Emmys in their recently opened NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE, join us this year as the Title Sponsor.”
With the growing partnership between the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, AEG has increased their support of the Foundation by stepping in as the Celebrity Golf Classic’s title sponsor.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Television Academy Foundation, which develops and administers numerous educational and archival programs serving the general public and academic community, the television industry and the Television Academy membership.
Scheduled to play are Dave Annable, Brian Baumgartner, Carlos Bernard, James Denton, David James Elliot, 2008 Primetime Emmy Award Nominee Jon Hamm, Dennis Haysbert, Joe Mantegna, Scott Wolf and more.

The 60th Primetime Emmy® Awards is being produced by AEG Ehrlich Ventures LLC. Returning with Ehrlich are producer Renato Basile and co-producer Danette Herman. Lou Horvitz will be directing.
