Raf Lydon, Art Directors/Set Decorators

As an experienced Production Designer and Art Director, I've had the privilege of working in the Art Department for over 25 years. I began my career in Ireland, working on various films before venturing to Los Angeles for new opportunities. Over time, I've honed my expertise on diverse projects in Television, ranging from Multi-Cam, Reality, Single-Camera to Variety productions. This experience has granted me an in-depth understanding of the unique processes and technical aspects involved in designing for varied formats. For the last 12 years, I've primarily immersed myself in the Single-Camera world.

Throughout my career, I'm grateful to have received recognition for my work, including an ADG award and an Emmy nomination. Additionally, I've had the honor of producing the ADG awards for several consecutive years. My passion for the industry is evident in my involvement as a long-standing member of the Television Academy. Presently, I am proudly serving my third term on the Art Directors & Set Decorators Peer Group, where I'm dedicated to fostering growth and representation for our talented community.

Multi-award winning chief communications officer at four major networks including HBO, Showtime, Fox and NBC during the past 4 decades. I stand on the shoulders of the many talented, ground-breaking executives I worked for and learned from including Michael Fuchs and Bob Greenblatt.

In 2015 developed Licata & Company, a television marketing/ communications agency specializing in media relations, crisis management, and creative advertising and publicity for the broad spectrum of industry award campaigns. Widely acknowledged by the TV media as the creator of the first strategic Emmy campaign, and many of the innovative tactics employed today to generate awards visibility for original programming.
