Vanda Barra was an actress best known for her roles opposite Lucille Ball. She was married to the stand-up comedian and actor Sid Gould, a cousin of Ball’s second husband, producer Gary Morton.

Barra got her start as a model before moving to California to pursue acting. She worked mostly in television, including multiple characters on six episodes of The Lucy Show and 23 episodes of Here’s Lucy. In the latter, she appeared multiple times as a secretary who worked in the same office building as Lucy’s character. She also had small roles in the 1975 television movies Lucy Gets Lucky and Three for Two.

Her other television work included roles on the series The Mothers-In-Law, The Doris Day Show, All in the Family, The Bob Hope Show, Rhoda, The Mary Tyler Moore Hour, Sanford, The Jeffersons, Too Close for Comfort and L.A. Law.
