Stephanie Moseley was born in Vancouver, Canada, in 1984. She started dance classes at age two, and continued dancing throughout her life.

After graduating from Pacific Arts Ballet, Kirkwood Academy and Danzmode in 2002, she competed worldwide in dance competitions and eventually relocated to the United States, where she finished her studies at Edge Performing Arts.

In 2006, actor and singer Jamie Foxx cast her to play his wife on his TV special, Jamie Foxx: Unpredictable. She also had guest starring roles in such series as Hellcats, Once Upon a Time and Psych, and was a regular in VH1's Hit the Floor.

In addition, she had roles in the feature films Mirror, Mirror and Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 1.

Moseley died in Los Angeles on December 8, 2014. She was 30.
