Stan Irwin was a talent manager and producer who represented Johnny Carson and was executive producer of The Tonight Show in 1962 during Carson’s first year as host.
Irwin worked closely with such entertainers as Don Rickles, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Marlene Dietrich, Bobby Darin, Bob Newhart and even the Beatles, bringing them to Las Vegas to perform at the Sahara and other casinos.
Irwin’s substantial experience in the entertainment world included being a comedian, actor, writer, as well as a promoter.

He voiced the character of Lou Costello in Hanna-Barbera's The Abbott and Costello Cartoon Show in the 1960s, and played the part of Arnie on the television show Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.
Irwin died in Los Angeles on January 21, 2015. He was 94.
