Sherri Chung is a composer for film and television and currently composes the scores for Kung Fu (CW), HBO Max/Amblin's animated series Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, and co-composes both Riverdale (CW) and Batwoman (CW) (with Blake Neely). Past shows include co-scores for the CBS limited series The Red Line, produced by Greg Berlanti and Ava DuVernay, and Crisis on Earth-X, Elseworlds, and Crisis on Infinite Earths - multi-episode crossovers uniting all of the CW's shows based on DC characters.

Sherri's list of films includes The Lost Husband (Netflix, Prime), which garnered her a 2020 Society Of Composers and Lyricists nomination for Best Score for an Independent Studio Film. Other films include Warner Bros Studio's Nancy Drew and The Hidden Staircase and The Other Side of Home, which was shortlisted for the 2017 Oscars for Best Short Documentary. Beyond film and episodic, Sherri's compositional work also includes songs, musicals, and music for documentaries and commercials.

Sherri studied Music Composition and Theory at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL, and attended USC's Scoring For Motion Picture and Television Graduate Program in Los Angeles, CA. Sherri has also attended the Sundance Institute's Film Music Program as well as ASCAP's Scoring Workshop. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, she began assisting composer Walter Murphy and then continued as an orchestrator for his shows, Family Guy and American Dad. Sherri first started writing music for television in 2015 as an additional writer, contributing to scores for CW's Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Not only a composer, Sherri is also a pianist, vocalist, performer and songwriter, and has recorded and produced 2 original albums. As a vocalist, she has recorded for films, commercials, trailer music, and television (ABC's Resurrection, and CW's Arrow). Her voice can be heard on NBC's Blindspot and the Netflix documentary series The Keepers (Emmy nominated for Outstanding Documentary), two scores she also conducted.
