Leo Birenberg

Leo Birenberg is a Los Angeles-based composer known for his exceptional talent in elevating numerous projects in television and film. He has established himself as a frequent collaborator with fellow composer Zach Robinson. Leo and Zach recently achieved acclaim by winning an Emmy for Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie, or Special for their work on Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.

One of Leo and Zach's most notable accomplishments is their composition of the score for the immensely popular Netflix series, Cobra Kai. This series serves as a sequel to the beloved "Karate Kid" film franchise, featuring the return of stars Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, and Martin Kove. Their music has played a significant role in capturing the spirit and nostalgia of the original films while infusing it with a fresh and modern energy.

Leo's passion for music and film began in his childhood, where he actively pursued both interests. He later combined these passions by studying composition at NYU and USC.
