Katherine Chappell was a picture editor and visual effects artist known for her work on such television programs as the HBO drama Game of Thrones.
Born in New York City in 1985, Chappell began her career as a postproduction assistant and editor. Her early credits included the comedy series Uncle Morty's Dub Shack; she went on to other shows, including Gravity and Royal Pains, prior to Game of Thrones.
On Game of Thrones, she was part of the effects team that won an Emmy for outstanding special and visual effects for the 2014 episode "The Children."
