Johnny Goodman was a British producer and production manager, most active in British television in the 1960s to 1980s. He also served as the Chairman of BAFTA from 1987 to 1989.

Most notably, Goodman worked on the television spy series, The Saint, which starred a pre-James Bond Roger Moore. He also worked on The Champions, The Persuaders and The Baron, three other British action-adventure television shows.

Goodman got his start early. He left school at 14 and managed to find work in the mailroom of London's Lime Grove Studios. After WWII, Goodman also briefly worked in the U.S. for 20th Century Fox as a dialogue editor. He returned to Great Britain to work as an assistant director on a string of films. His biggest title was Ivanhoe with Elizabeth Taylor and Robert Taylor.

Goodman died January 30, 2015. He was 87.
