John Landgraf, president and general manager of FX Networks, is responsible for all of the entertainment and business operations for FX, FX HD, Fox Movie Channel and FX Productions.

John Landgraf, president and general manager of FX Networks, is responsible for all of the entertainment and business operations for FX, FX HD, Fox Movie Channel and FX Productions.

Landgraf joined FX as president of entertainment in January 2004 and became president and general manager of FX Networks in May 2005. During his time at FX, the network has achieved all-time highs in total viewers and among total viewers and its target audience of adults 18-49. Landgraf has made significant creative contributions to the Emmy- and Golden Globe award-winning series The Shield and Nip/Tuck, and played a critical role in the development of the Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated drama Rescue Me. He also launched the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning drama Damages, the critically acclaimed hit dramas The Americans, Sons of Anarchy and Justified and the hit comedies It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League and Archer.

Prior to joining FX, Landgraf was president of Jersey Television, where he executive produced the long-running series Reno 911! on Comedy Central. From 1994-1999, he was vice president of primetime series at NBC. Landgraf holds a B.A. in anthropology from Pitzer College, where he currently is a member of the school’s Board of Trustees. He was a Coro Fellow from 1984-1985. He lives in Santa Monica, Calif., with his wife, Ally Walker Landgraf, and their three sons.
