Hinton Battle was a three-time Tony-winning actor, singer and dancer who appeared in television, films and on Broadway. He could be seen in television series including Smash, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Quantum Leap and High Incident. He had roles in films including "Dreamgirls," "Foreign Student" and "Daddy's Boys." Battle starred as the Scarecrow in the Broadway play, The Wiz and appeared in musicals including Miss Saigon, The Tap Dance Kid and Sophisticated Ladies.
