Geoffrey Lewis was an actor best known for his roles opposite Clint Eastwood in High Plains Drifter, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Bronco Billy, Pink Cadillac, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and Every Which Way But Loose and its sequel, Any Which Way You Can.

Lewis, the father of Oscar-nominated actress Juliette Lewis, garnered his own accolades and a Golden Globe nomination for playing bartender Earl Tucker on the early-1980s sitcom Flo. He also had a starring role on the action series Land’s End as Willis P. Dunleevy, the employer and friend of title character, Mike Land, played by Fred Dryer.

With more than 200 credits to his name, Lewis worked on many well-known television shows, including Bonanza, Mission: Impossible, Gunsmoke, Mod Squad, The Waltons, Starsky and Hutch, Police Woman, Laverne & Shirley, The Six Million Dollar Man, Hawaii Five-O, Mork & Mindy, Barnaby Jones, Little House on the Prairie, The A-Team, The Golden Girls, Matlock, Dawson's Creek, Nip/TuckMy Name Is Earl, House M.D. and The X-Files, among others.
