Gene L. Gillette was a renowned music editor for several long-running TV shows from the mid-1970s through the early 1990s.

Gillette began his career as a music editor on The Bionic Woman in 1976. From there, he worked on episodes of Emergency! in 1978 and The Incredible Hulk in 1980, as well as the TV movies The Golden Gate Murders (1979), M.A.D.D.: Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (1983), Airwolf (1984) and Time Bomb (1984).

His feature film music editing experience came on the 1982 Francis Ford Coppola film, One From the Heart.

Gillette died on January, 23, 2014. He was 82.
