Cliff Bole was a director whose lengthy resume included dozens of series, including three installments of the Star Trek franchise.

Born in San Francisco, he grew un in southern California, where he would sometimes sneak on to studio lots to watch productions. He broke into the entertainment industry as a script clerk and went on to become a script supervisor and production supervisor on his way to the director's chair.

His numerous credits included such series as Baretta, The Six Milion Dollar Man, Charlie's Angels, Vega$, Fantasy Island, T. J. Hooker, MacGyver, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and many others.

Bole died February 15, 2014, in Palm Desert, California. He was 76.
