He also penned scripts for the big screen, as well as teleplays for television. His feature length works include: Of Unknown Origin (1983) starring Peter Weller, Wanted: Dead or Alive (1986) with Rutger Hauer, Poltergeist III (1988) starring Tom Skerritt, and Deadly Family Secrets (1995) with Loni Anderson.
Taggert died June 1st, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. He was 81.
