Antonio Sabato Sr. was an Italian-born film and television actor.

With a career that spanned five decades, Sabato first gained international notoriety for his role in John Frankenheimer's film, Grand Prix (1966). He would go on to work on an eclectic slate of features including Barbarella (1968), One Dollar Too Many (1968), Beyond the Law (1968), Crime Boss (1972), War of the Robots (1978), Escape from the Bronx (1983), The Wild Team (1985), Bye Bye Vietnam (1990), and High Voltage (1997)
