The 64th Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards ceremony is set to take place on August 11, 2012 at 5:30PM PST, at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in L.A.'s Noho Arts District. Watch the webcast re-play here.

During the August ceremony, Emmy® Award winner Susan Stratton, a trailblazer for women in the television industry and a veteran KCAL producer/director will be honored with the 2012 L.A. Area Emmys Governors Award.

Stratton — the very first woman television producer and director for a professional sports franchise in the U.S. — was in charge of bringing the Los Angeles Lakers telecast into Southern California homes for 27 years.
