Claire Danes stars as CIA agent "Carrie Mathison" in Showtime political thriller Homeland.
For her role in HBO's Temple Grandin (as educator/autism advocate Grandin), the acclaimed actress won 2010 Emmy®, Golden Globe and SAG awards.
She emerged in 1992 on Law & Order, then at 15, in cult classic My So Called Life. She worked on Little Women film adaptation with Winona Ryder, Kirstin Dunst, Christian Bale and Susan Sarandon, and later starred in Baz Luhrmann's take on William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio. Danes also starred in Oscar®-nom The Hours with Meryl Streep, Terminator 3 with Arnold Schwarzenegger and on Broadway as "Eliza Doolittle" in Pygmalion.
