Chris Colfer

Chris Colfer first appeared on screen as “Kurt Hummel” of Glee with co-stars Jane Lynch, Lea Michele and more, after honing his talents in regional theatre. He originally auditioned for the “Artie Abrams” role (now played by Kevin McHale), but Glee creator Ryan Murphy was so impressed with Colfer, that he created “Kurt” just for him. Beyond acting, Colfer signed a two-book deal with Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. His first, The Land of Stories, is set for summer 2012 release. He has also written scripts for a Disney Channel pilot and for the movie Struck by Lightning.
