Emmys Publicist Covid Protocols
For Publicists and Representatives who are being credentialed, here is your COVID information. In the emails that Angela sent you, the credentialing information is all at the bottom.
Based on current COVID-19 safety protocols established by our production company, all nominees, nominee guests and attendees seated in the nominee section for the 74th Emmy Awards are required to show proof of a negative COVID test upon arrival at the Microsoft Theater for admittance.
The following types of tests will be accepted:
• Lab-based PCR rapid or diagnostic tests
• LAMP or NAAT molecular tests, including Cue Health or Lucira
Antigen tests will not be accepted.
All test results must be dated and presentable on a mobile device. All COVID-19 tests must be collected by the lab/provider on or after Saturday, September 10.
Please note that a PCR test may return a positive result up to 90 days after a person first tests positive for COVID. If you are concerned you may not be able to show proof of a negative test, you must reach out to emmystesting@televisionacademy.com. Please identify yourself as a publicist.
Below is a list of laboratories and/or providers that offer lab-based PCR testing in the greater Los Angeles and New York areas. We cannot guarantee results will be provided in the timeframe, and you should reach out to each laboratory individually for latest turnaround times.
