Tom Johnson was a screenwriter and producer who worked on television series, specials and films. He was best known for being a writer on over 1,000 episodes of The Daily Show for 7 years. Johnson served as head writer for series including Stand-Up Nation with Greg Giraldo, Comedy Knockout, The Jeselnik Offensive, Lopez Tonight, Late Night Liars, Talk Show with Spike Feresten and Reality Bites Back. He was in charge of the writing for television specials including WTF with Marc Maron, Joan Rivers' Straight Talk, Scream Awards 2011, Guys Choice Awards 2012, Guys Choice Awards 2014 and Guys Choice Awards 2015.
