Bob Precht was born May 12, 1930, in Douglas, Arizona as Robert H. Precht, Jr. A legendary live television producer and director, he is known for his work on The Ed Sullivan Show (1958-1971), Beatles at Shea Stadium (1966), and the Annual Country Music Association Awards (1976-1992), as well as many other specials and award shows.
He was married to Elizabeth Sullivan and they had 5 children together.
