Emmy Award winner Marc Hirschfeld, CSA served as Executive Vice President, Casting, NBC Universal Television, for almost a decade. During his tenure, he was responsible for overseeing casting for all NBC, Syfy, Bravo and USA Network scripted programs. As the senior talent executive, Hirschfeld was responsible for on air diversity for all scripted series and launched and spearheaded all talent diversity initiatives and programming.

As the senior talent executive, Hirschfeld was responsible for on air diversity for all scripted series and launched and spearheaded all talent diversity initiatives and programming.

Prior to NBC, Hirschfeld spent 12 years establishing Liberman/Hirschfeld Casting receiving multiple Emmy nominations for the NBC comedy series Seinfeld and won the Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries for HBO’s From the Earth to the Moon. Hirschfeld has been recognized by his peers in the Casting Society of America with more than 46 nominations and eight Artios Award wins for outstanding achievements in comedy episodic, pilot, live specials and daytime casting. He became the recipient of the CSA’s highest honor, the Hoyt Bowers Award, in November 2007 in recognition of his body of work.

In addition to his current casting partnership with Geralyn Flood, Hirschfeld supervises all casting for AMC Networks, AMC+, Sundance and BBC America, putting together the ensemble for their hit series Killing Eve. Prior consulting stints include eOne Entertainment, Gaumont International Television, Fremantle International, Snap Originals, Content Superba and CMT.

Hirschfeld currently maintains offices and residences on both coasts, serving as a member of the executive committee and advisory board of HBO’s U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and the Casting Directors Peer Group Committee of the Television Academy.
