Joel Rogosin

Joel Rogosin was an American television producer and screenwriter.

He began his career in show business in 1957 as a messenger at Columbia Pictures, and by 1961 was producing ABC's 77 Sunset Strip, at that time the #1 show on television.

Rogosin's other producing credits include The Virginian, Hawaiian Eye Surfside 6, Ironside, The Blue Knight, Magnum, P.I., and Knight Rider. He was nominated for Emmy Awards for his work on Magnum P.I. and Ironside.

Rogosin once said that the highlights of his career were the two Jerry Lewis/Muscular Dystrophy Association telethons he produced. He said never felt more alive than when he was doing something good for others.

Rogosin died April 21, 2020, in Woodland Hills, California. He was 87.
