Howell Binkley was an American stage lighting designer.

Known for his use of saturated color with white or cool highlights with smoke and haze, Binkley made his Broadway debut in 1993 as the lighting designer for Kiss of the Spider-Woman, for which he earned his first Tony nomination.

He went on to design 52 shows, earning nine Tony nominations for his work including Avenue Q, In The Heights, Come From Away, and Ain't Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptations. He won Tonys for designing the original Broadway productions of Jersey Boys (2006) and Hamilton (2016).
