Gena Rowlands was a three-time Primetime Emmy Award winning actress known for her collaborations with husband John Cassavetes. Rowlands and actor/director Cassavetes teamed up on films such as Gloria and A Woman Under Influence. Rowlands appeared on an episode of NCIS and played the role of “Marge Johnson” on the “Mr. Monk and the Lady Next Door” episode of the USA series Monk.
